Have you ever wanted a gaming console that lets you stream your favorite shows/movies or lets you watch music videos or lets you just listen to music and lets you play your favorite video games? Then PlayStation 4 may be a good pick for you. You can stream Netflix, YouTube, or other apps like Spotify or twitch and many other apps from the PS4. I highly recommend the PS4 for hardcore gamers, people that would like to play every now and then or for the people that would like to play with family, friends or with kids and of course if you’d like to sit back and stream some apps like YouTube, Netflix or Spotify then this article and game console may be for you.

Out of all of the gaming consoles the PS4 is my favorite yet, compared to Xbox One or the Nitendo Switch or past consoles because the PS4 has all you might ask for in a gaming console and I’m here to tell you about it.

The PS4 has the best exclusive games better then the Xbox One. Some of the big exclusive games that the Xbox One doesn’t have that the PS4 has include Uncharted 4, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Horizon: Zero Dawn and God of War. It also used to be that PlayStation was the only console that had games like crash bandicoot or spyro but now they’re multi platformed.

You can download games instead of buying the discs which is a cool thing you can do but having a disc for a game is cool too which you can also do. You can log onto any PS4 and access your entire digital gaming library which is a nice feature.

Sony says they’re committed to releasing an increasing number of free to play games.

A downside is that PlayStation 4 is not backward compatible but Sony’s answer to that was PlayStation Now which is a paid gaming subscription service that can allow you to play PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 games for around $20 a month.

The PS4 can play Blue-Rays and Dvd’s but not CD’s or MP3.

To play multiplayer games online you’ll need PlayStation plus which costs $50 a year. Here’s something cool, if you have a PlayStation plus account as your main account on the PS4, you then have PlayStation plus for any other account that logs in on that PS4.

The PS4’s originally had a 500 GB hard drive which you can replace or upgrade and is simple to do.

The PlayStation controller has a built in speaker and is also motion controlled. It has an LED light on the front of it and has a beautifully set up touch pad. You can charge your controller while it’s in standby mode which is also a cool feature.

The PlayStation 4 has an upgraded camera you can get rather then Xbox One which has kinect.

IOS and Android have an app called the PlayStation App by Sony.

When you buy the PS4 It comes with an HDMI cable, a Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller, a USB charging cable and an earbud headset for game chat.

Sony also offers PlayStation Vue which is a cable TV alternative starting at $50 a month.

Sony updates the PS4’s Firmware regularly.

The PS4 has faster software and tends to install games faster then the Xbox One. Sometimes the PS4 even has higher resolutions and plays at a higher frame rate then the Xbox One.

Overall the PS4 is an all around great gaming system and a must have for us hardcore gamers. I have one and I love it. I play it almost everyday and have it on most the time streaming music or movies and shows. I really can’t get enough of it. I hope you like it and enjoy it if you were to get it.
